I was right in thinking that Frosted Forest would give me enough for some mittens.
No pattern, just getting gauge, measuring a little wrist, casting on, and taking it from there.
I didn’t realize there’d also be enough for a tiny top-down raglan for puppy, a very important member of our family.

Gladiators do prefer well dressed Loveys!

Frosted Forest
December 2007
50/50 Wool Top/Soy Silk
256 yards - 2ply - sport weight - 13 wpi
Every month I’m thankful for the double club.
Couldn’t resist immediately casting on for…

and there are about 100 yards left for some little mittens!

Actual temp this morning is -16. Glad to have a warm neck.
Stay warm!

Now that was fun! Loving the emergency orange but don’t feel toxic at all. Feel quite fortified, in fact.
Toxic - 8oz Superwash Corriedale (how I love the double club!) spun into 353 yards 2ply at 12 wpi.
Sport weight - my thinnest yarn yet!
I think I feel some socks coming on. Any other suggestions?

I just couldn’t wait. Lovely to spin and fun to ply. Nice bulky 2ply.
Thanks for another GORGEOUS fiber Adrian!!

Had a little scrap left so took a stab at Navajo plying. You have to start somewhere, right?
I’m off to surf patterns on Ravelry. Maybe a hat? Will keep you posted.
